Happy Earth Day. Take the time today and do something to help our planet.

Yesterday, one of the teachers at the school where I work arranged for the students to take part in a beach clean up for Earth Day. We removed bags of garbage as well as bicycles and other large metal pieces. There were many things buried deep in the sand and other things too large to move. The best way to solve this problem is to not let these items reach the beach. Please try to dispose of items in a proper manner so they can be recycled or scrapped in a more eco-friendly way.
