Nara

Nara was the first capital of Japan. Now Nara is home to many ancient temples, including Todai-ji which houses one of the largest Buddha statues in Japan.

Nara is really famous for Nara Park. A place where wild deer roam. They seem almost tame and will eat right out of your hand, whether the food was for them or not. These deer and be touched and are very used to humans. They can also be very temperamental and bite, so be careful.

We spend a day exploring around Nara and had lunch with the deer. Then they tried to eat everything we had.
